Kris Boyd shooting leaves Jets cornerback in critical but stable condition in Midtown Manhattan, police say.

Kris Boyd shooting — NEW YORKNew York Jets cornerback Kris Boyd, 29, was shot in the chest about 2 a.m. outside club Sei Less on West 38th Street, police said. He was transported to Bellevue Hospital in critical but stable condition. There were no announcements of arrests on November 17, 2025.

Police said the shots erupted after an argument outside the restaurant, and the gunman fled. As they search for clues, investigators have shared surveillance footage of a man wanted for questioning.

Boyd signed with the Jets in 2025 and has not played this season as he has been rehabbing a preseason shoulder injury. The cornerback entered the NFL when the Vikings selected the Texas product in 2019.

Since it opened, celebrities have been drawn to Sei Less, where A-list athletes are celebrated for making appearances and performing effectively while dining at their tables.
