The Pokémon Company’s official Pokémon Legends: Z-A site notes the Mega Dimension content went live Dec. 10, bringing players into a more dangerous spin on Lumiose and setting up longer, grind-heavy side missions. In reporting on the launch, The Verge’s DLC breakdown described Hyperspace Lumiose as a higher-level gauntlet that’s meant to reward post-story progression rather than casual play.
Mega Magearna unlock requirements
A walkthrough from Game8’s Side Mission 195 guide says “Restarting Magearna” opens only after Hyperspace Mission 12, the DLC’s final story step. The mission starts in the Quasatrico Inc. lobby in the Magenta District, where Jett asks you to supply enough Mega Shards to bring the mechanical Pokémon back online.
